Check their agenda to see if they will address a request from LAFCo to set a new TWD election date.
Show up, sign up for public comment, and here are some suggestions on what to say:
–If the resolution they have received from LAFCo does not include all of the information in the LAFCo comments above, they should send it back to LAFCo without scheduling an election.
–If they claim to support Proposition 13, why they are okay with imposing a new tax on TWD-area landowners without a two-thirds majority vote?
–If you’re as weary of their shenanigans as we are, tell them you feel they are abdicating their responsibility to protect the interests of all County residents by putting their ag-interest campaign contributors in charge of groundwater planning.
