  1. i was able to catch the end of your presentation (doublespeak) regarding the trees in Bidwell park being at risk should the TWD be formed. Please be responsible when conveying information to the public. IF, in fact you are an environmentalist championing for the trees in Bidwell park, it would be prudent to consider the thousands of homeless souls currently using Little Chico Creek as their toilet. This creek is the main source of water for the trees in Bidwell park. Furthermore, this land was donated to the community by Annie Bidwell and its current use as a "home" for the homeless is criminal. Not only to Annie Bidwells intentions but also the community and environment. Be clear with you intent and words. God is paying attention!

  2. Groundwater For Butte has no position or involvement on homeless issues in Chico. We have carefully researched all information presented on this website and at our public education events. Tuscan Water District, by comparison, has revealed almost nothing about its plans. Its entire inception has been secretive and unaccountable. Very vague on the future costs being imposed on this community so that big landowners can have expensive access to piped-in water, then profit from it in a "water bank" scheme. Greed is one of the seven deadly sins, I hear.
